N-Ethylethylenediamine is a chelating agent used in mutagenesis research studies. It undergoes condensation with 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde. It also forms organometallic ruthenium(II) complexes that inhibit the growth in human ovarian cancer cell lines.

Anwendungen
N-Ethylethylendiamin ist ein Chelatbildner, der in Studien zur Mutageneseforschung eingesetzt wird. Es wird mit 2-Hydroxy-3-Methoxybenzaldehyd kondensiert. Es bildet außerdem metallorganische Ruthenium(II)-Komplexe, die das Wachstum in menschlichen Eierstockkrebs-Zelllinien hemmen.
