Beschreibung
Monkey Decorin quantitates monkey Decorin in serum, plasma, supernatant. The assay will exclusively recognize both natural and recombinant monkey Decorin.
Decorin ist ein Mitglied der kleinen, Leucin-reichen Proteoglykan(SLRP)-Familie zusammen mit Biglykan. Decorin, das in der interterritorialen Region des Knorpels gefunden wird, interagiert mit Kollagen und anderen Matrixproteinen, um die Knorpelmatrix zu regulieren. Es wurde gezeigt, dass es mit Fibronektin, Thrombospondin, C1q, dem epidermalen Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptor (EGFR) und TGF-b interagieren kann. Es wird angenommen, dass Decorin auch eine Rolle im Zellzyklus der Chondrozyten spielt. Das neoepitope Fragment von Decorin hat eine Sequenz von PKTLQE, und entsteht durch MMP-3 oder ADAMTS-4 vermittelte Spaltung an Glu154-Leu155 des Decorin Kernproteins.
