Description

Description

The main application of mercuric chloride is as a catalyst for the conversion of acetylene to vinyl chloride, the precursor to polyvinylchloride. It is also employed in photography.

Anwendungen
Quecksilberchlorid wird hauptsächlich als Katalysator für die Umwandlung von Acetylen in Vinylchlorid, der Vorstufe von Polyvinylchlorid eingesetzt. Es wird auch in der Fotografie, in Desinfektionsmitteln und Holzkonservierungsmitteln eingesetzt
