Beschreibung
Human IL-17 E quantitates human IL-17 E in serum, plasma, supernatant. The assay will exclusively recognize both natural and recombinant human IL-17 E.
Interleukin-25 (IL-25) gehört zur IL-17-Familie und wird als von Th17-Effektorzellen produziertes proinflammatorisches Zytokin identifiziert, wodurch die Th17-Untergruppe den Autoimmunprozess bei Erkrankungen wie der rheumatoiden Arthritis initiieren bzw. aufrechterhalten kann. IL-25 induziert außerdem die Aktivierung von NF-Kappa-B und stimuliert die Produktion des proinflammatorischen Chemokins IL-8. IL-25 selbst wird durch IL-23, IL-5 und TGF-beta aktiviert.
