Beschreibung
Catechol Violet is used as a complexometric indicator dye. It inhibits the synthesis of globin in reticulocyte lysates. It is also used as a pH indicator with a transition interval from 0 to 8.
This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. AnwendungenKatecholviolett wird als komplexometrischer Indikatorfarbstoff verwendet. Es hemmt die Synthese von Globin in Retikulozyten-Lysaten. Es wird auch als pH-Indikator mit einem Übergangsintervall von 0 bis 8 verwendet.
Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser, Ethylenglykol, Monomethylether und Ethanol.
Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
