Beschreibung
Borane-pyridine complex is used for synthesis of α-alkyl-β-hydroxy esters and preparation of Igs conjugated with viral peptide epitopes. It is used as reducing agent for high performance liquid chromatography analysis of oligosaccharides. It is also used as modifier in decant oil affecting its carbonization to mesophase pitch.

AnwendungenBoranpyridin-Komplex wird für die Synthese von α-Alkyl-β-Hydroxyestern und die Herstellung von mit viralen Peptid-Epitopen konjugiertem Igs verwendet. Wird als Reduktionsmittel für die Analyse von Oligosacchariden mittels Hochleistungsflüssigchromatographie verwendet. Wird auch als Modifikator in dekantiertem Öl verwendet, wodurch seine Karbonisierung auf Mesophasepech beeinflusst wird.
Löslichkeit
Hydrolysiert langsam im Wasser.
Hinweise
Luft- und feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Nicht kompatibel mit Oxidationsmitteln und Wärme.
