Beschreibung
1-Bromo-2-chloroethane was used in regio- and diastereoselective synthesis of 2-alkylidenetetrahydrofurans. 1-Bromo-2-chloroethane is used as a solvent and as an intermediate for organic synthesis. It is used as a as fumigant.

Löslich in Wasser (7 g/l (20 °C). Löslich in Ethanol, Ethylether und Chloroform.
Hinweise
Lichtempfindlich. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Von starken Oxidationsmitteln fernhalten.
